Dining with the Montecucco wines
MONTECUCCO SANGIOVESE DOC: perfect the coupling of Montecucco Sangiovese DOC with structured red meats, such as steaks and “tagliata”, with game roast. Also an excellent accompaniement for “primi piatti” such as “tagliatelle” with wild boar and “polenta al sugo”. Particulary appreciated also togheter with “extravergine” olive oil “bruschetta” and aged cheese.
MONTECUCCO ROSSO DOC: goes well with grilled veal andpork; very good with “pasta con ragù”: can go well also with tasty fish like our large eel, stockfish or fish soup. Sure companion of medium ripe cheese.
MONTECUCCO VERMENTINO DOC: easy to couple our Vermentino with classical fish dishes, soups and pasta with tomato sauce. Goes very well with strong cheese, like “grana” and “parmigiano”. Ideal alone or as an aperitif.
MONTECUCCO BIANCO DOC: goes well with fish and with simpl “primi piatti” and soft cheese.
