An ancient world looking to the future

In a natural environment between the Maremma and the slopes of Mt. Amiata, one that through the centuries, without damage to neither landscape nor nature, has been trasformed by man, you find  an opulent blend of mediterrean macchia, pastures, chestnut groves and the pleasant valleys of the Ombrone and Orcia rivers; the latter marking the eastern boundary of the wine producing area (DOC) Montecucco, separating it from DOC Brunello di Montalcino.

Under the ancient and extinct volcano, Mt. Amiata, and near the sea, yet just far enough from its gales, the vines growing in the Maremma soil have for themselves wide green spaces with just a few scattered houses and production plants, so few you can count them on your fingers. But most of all they have an intense light and an ideal climate for aromas and flavours, along with a winemaking tradition that has been handed on from father to son. All of these ingredients are ideal for producing a wine that has all the required credentials.
